Lymphedema

Lymphedema is a permanent condition that develops when fluid collects in tissues and results in chronic swelling (edema). This can be due to cancer, surgery, radiation/chemotherapy, trauma or vein problems.

There is no cure for lymphedema, but with treatment patients can see a reduction in swelling and discomfort. Our certified lymphedema therapists are specially trained in comprehensive lymphedema management. Our Lymphedema Management program uses complete decongestive therapy (CDT), the internationally preferred approach used to treat lymphedema. Our team emphasizes self-care and will teach you how to manage your lymphedema.
