Director's Message
Welcome to our new Transitional Year Residency, an ACGME-accredited program. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians who will support you as you provide care for a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Rotations include Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, Inpatient Medicine, Quality Improvement, and multiple electives so you can personalize your training experience.
Doylestown Hospital offers an engaging environment, including both hospital- and community-based settings. Our patients benefit from a personalized approach, highly coordinated care, advanced expertise, innovative treatment options and state-of-the-art facilities — all in a convenient, suburban location where strong physician/patient relationships, follow-up and ongoing health education and coaching helps patients get and stay well.
All of this will take place in and around Doylestown, a suburban, walkable community that’s steeped in beauty, arts, and history.
Some important things to know: Doylestown Health’s Family Medicine service line has earned national recognition for its achievements in population health and value-based care (including CMS’s Medicare Shared Saving Program). In addition, Doylestown Hospital is consistently ranked among the nation’s best hospitals by Newsweek: eighth in Pennsylvania and 122 in the United States, and is the only hospital in Pennsylvania to achieve 15 consecutive ‘A’ grades for patient safety from the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade.
I encourage you to apply to our program as we continue to transform healthcare in the Doylestown community and beyond.
