Anthony Tran, MB, BCh

I am a board-certified surgeon trained in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery and pride myself on providing uncompromising care to all of my patients. My areas of interest include structural heart, valve repair, and valve-sparing procedures. 
I performed my fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at nationally ranked Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Plano, where they perform more than 2,000 cases annually. My training consisted of both traditional open surgery (via median sternotomy) and minimally invasive access (mini-thoracotomy and robotic-assisted).
My work appears in peer-reviewed journals including Perfusion, Circulation, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Journal of Cardiothoracic Disease, and Current Challenges in Thoracic Surgery. I’ve had the honor of receiving multiple fellowship awards from the American Association of Thoracic Surgery and have presented at national conferences.
