Doylestown Health is pleased to offer both in-person and virtual classes and events. We also offer an outdoor, socially distanced, low-impact exercise, and health education activity called Walk with a Doc. Registration is required.

Skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide. One in five Americans will develop skin cancer by the age of 70. Annual skin cancer screenings are important to your health. Doylestown Health and local dermatologists Dr. Mary Toporcer and Dr. Rachel White are offering a FREE skin screening. This program is intended for those who are uninsured or underinsured and have not had a screening within the last two years. Identifying Elderly Financial Abuse

Join Jeff Smith, an American Heritage Credit Union Fraud Investigator, as he discusses how to identify elderly financial abuse. Fraudulent exploitation among elderly citizens is one of the leading causes of financial loss per year. In this session, individuals will learn how to spot common elderly scams, understand misuse of assets/money, as well as tips and tricks to prevent future frauds or scams from potentially occurring.

Cancer Survivorship Art Program

Come join in the fun and contribute to our 2022 Survivors Day project! All survivors who participate will be given an 8X8 inch square to decorate/paint/color how they choose to show their portrayal of survivorship. The squares will then be put together to look like a patchwork quilt and displayed in the Doylestown Health Art Walk in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day. Materials will be provided, as well as templates if you need a starting point. Anyone who has ever received a cancer diagnosis is welcome to attend! Mental Health Series: A Portrait of Mental Health in Service Members

Nearly one in four active-duty members showed signs of a mental health condition; however, the conditions do not simply fade away after completing the assignment (NAMI, 2014). Post-duty service members may struggle transitioning back to civilian life, coping with traumatic experiences, and getting past the stigma associated with disclosing the need for mental health support. Join US Coast Guard Veteran, Christopher Capitano, and US Army Veteran, Nikki Weigand, to discuss some of the primary mental health concerns one may experience as a current or prior service member and local resources to help both the service member and their support system.
