An endowment is a fund invested in public and private portfolios, returning a permanent source of income through interest each year. With donations to the Doylestown Hospital Legacy Endowment Fund, Doylestown Health is building a strong financial foundation, and investing directly in the well-being of our community. You can make a gift of any amount to the Legacy Endowment Fund — a priority of ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health — or designate your gift to a restricted endowment that supports the hospital service-area most meaningful to you. You can even establish your own endowment with a minimum gift of $100,000.
How to support an endowment:
- Make an outright gift to the Legacy Endowment Fund online, or by mailing a check payable to “Doylestown Health Foundation” to 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
- Make the Legacy Endowment Fund or a restricted endowment the beneficiary of a planned gift, such as a bequest in your will. To learn more, call 215.345.2802.
- Designate the Legacy Endowment Fund the beneficiary of a charitable IRA rollover, which allows you to transfer up to $100,000 without recognizing it as income.
- Take advantage of tax benefits on appreciated stocks by transferring a portion or all of the appreciated securities to the Legacy Endowment Fund.
